Fisher and Corrales in Rincón de la Vieja

CRATER ecologists Joshua Fisher (left) and Ernesto Corrales (right) hike through Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Costa Rica, to gather data from trace gas sensors across the forest. Fisher and his team placed sensors at locations across the forest to measure emissions, in an effort to understand how vegetation responds to elevated levels of carbon dioxide.
