
Waterfall Fumarole
Vapor rises above a river in Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Costa Rica, which contains an active volcanic system. Volcanic systems passively release gases through cracks and vents in the Earth's crust like this one, called fumaroles, which NASA's CRATER team set out to measure.
