S82-33229 (4 July 1982) --- The space shuttle Columbia touches down on Runway 22 at Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California at the completion of a successful seven-day stay in Earth orbit. Inside are astronauts Thomas K. Mattingly II and Henry W. Hartsfield Jr., STS-4 commander and pilot, respectively.
