iss073e0608785 (June 13, 2025) --- The aurora australis streams above the Earth and into the atmospheric glow in this photograph taken from the International Space Station as it orbited 269 miles above the Indian Ocean midway between Australia and Antarctica at approximately 2:51 a.m. local time. Portions of the orbital outpost's Roscosmos segment are visible in the foreground, including (from left) the Rassvet module and the Soyuz MS-27 crew spacecraft docked to the Prichal module which is itself attached to the Nauka science module.
