A RS-25 rocket engine arrives at NASA’s Stennis Space Center in south Mississippi on Jan. 17 for future testing and use on NASA’s new Space Launch System. A total of 15 RS-25 flight engines have been moved from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to Stennis, where they will be stored until testing begins at a future date. Once tested, the engines will power the core stage of the new heavy-lift launch vehicle.
