Dryden electronics technician Chris Brooke of Computer Science Corp. prepared the Supersonic Boundary Layer Transition – Phase II, or SBLT-II, test airfoil experiment hung underneath NASA’s F-15B for flight test. The experiment, conducted in partnership with Aerion Corporation, involved flying the small Aerion-designed test airfoil at supersonic speeds to determine the extent and robustness of natural laminar flow over the test section.April 4, 2013
