NASA’s Johnson Space Center and Pathways interns volunteered their time at Hermann Park in downtown Houston. By chopping down tall grass, the team beautified the park for the summer season. They were also able to cover the more sensitive plants from the strong summer sun and provide the nutrients the plants would need for the cooler fall months.
