NASA’s Global Hawk No. 872 landed August 27 at the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia following a transit flight from its home base at the Armstrong Flight Research Center in California. The 22-hour flight included several hours of data and image collection over Hurricane Cristobal in the Atlantic ocean during the first science flight of NASA’s 2014 HS3 mission.
