About PESTO
The Planetary Exploration Science Technology Office (PESTO) is managed at Glenn Research Center (GRC) as part of the Planetary Science Division (PSD).

Investment Areas
PESTO programs fund instruments, components, and spacecraft technology that enable NASA Planetary Science Missions.

Technology Development Plan
PESTO developed a comprehensive Planetary Science Technology Development strategy to outline how we will create widely available advanced capabilities to explore the solar system.

Our projects develop and mature, to high technology readiness levels (TRL 6), innovative technologies for planetary science exploration.


Events
PESTO will hold an alternating year in person Technology Showcase. The Technology Showcase is a forum created by PESTO to facilitate interactions and meetings between Technology Developers, Scientists, and Mission Managers.
