Users’ Advisory Group

The function of the National Space Council Users’ Advisory Group (UAG) is solely advisory and shall be to ensure that the interests of industry, other non-Federal entities, and other institutions involved in leading aerospace research, science advancement, technology development, and space operations are represented in a balanced fashion within the National Space Council.

About the Users’ Advisory Group

Representing non-Federal entities in the National Space Council.

The UAG is comprised of six sub-subcommittees, each designated with a Federal Officer to support subcommittee meetings: Exploration and Discovery, Data and Emerging Technology, STEM Education, Diversity and Inclusion, and Outreach, Climate and Societal Benefits, National Security, and Economic Development and Industrial Base.

The objective of the Users’ Advisory Group is to ensure that the interests of industries and other non-Federal entities involved in space activities, including in particular commercial entities, are adequately represented in the National Space Council.
