Using our Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment, White Sands Test Facility can easily machine complex parts and precision components out of hard conductive metals for which traditional machining techniques are ineffective.
Our EDM machines use one of the most accurate manufacturing processes available for making small odd-shaped angles, detailed contours, or cavities in hardened steel and exotic metals like titanium, Hastelloy®, Kovar®, Inconel®, and carbide.
Because of its versatility in cutting small, delicate, and complex items, EDM has become an integral part of making prototype and production parts for space, industry, and commercial applications.
