This week in 1997, space shuttle Discovery, mission STS-82, landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center following a successful nine-day mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope. Here, astronaut Gregory J. Harbaugh floats while Hubble is docked in the orbiter’s cargo bay. This was the second Hubble servicing mission.
