The public is invited to take part in virtual activities and events ahead of the launch of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-6 mission to the International Space Station. Liftoff is targeted for 2:07 a.m. EST Sunday, Feb. 26, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The mission is NASA’s sixth crew rotation flight involving a U.S. commercial spacecraft carrying crew for a science expedition aboard the microgravity laboratory. The Crew-6 mission will carry NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Warren “Woody” Hoburg, as well as UAE (United Arab Emirates) astronaut Sultan Alneyadi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev to the orbital outpost.
Members of the public can register to attend the launch virtually. The virtual guest program for this launch includes curated launch resources, timely mission updates, and a virtual guest passport stamp following a successful launch.
Live launch coverage will begin at 10:30 p.m. EST Saturday, Feb. 25, and air on NASA Television and the agency’s website, as well as YouTube and Twitter.
