Hatch Closed on SpaceX Dragon Spacecraft 

Technicians with SpaceX completed their checks inside Dragon’s spacecraft and closed the hatch. 

The technicians will examine the hatch seal for any leaks. Once complete, the launch director with SpaceX will verify a “go” for propellant load.

New: Update to NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 Media Briefings for Today

NASA now will host a media teleconference about 6:30 p.m. EST today on the flight readiness review for the agency’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station. The briefing also will cover the Crew-9 mission return from the microgravity laboratory.

The Flight Readiness Review briefing participants include:

  • Ken Bowersox, associate administrator, Space Operations Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters in Washington
  • Steve Stich, manager, Commercial Crew Program, NASA Kennedy
  • Dana Weigel, manager, International Space Station Program, NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston
  • William Gerstenmaier, vice president, Build and Flight Reliability, SpaceX
  • Junichi Sakai, manager, International Space Station Program, JAXA

NASA will provide audio-only coverage of the teleconference.

At 7:30 p.m., NASA will host the Crew-10 crew news conference (or directly following the completion of the mission overview news conference) with the following participants:

  • Anne McClain, Crew-10 spacecraft commander, NASA
  • Nichole Ayers, Crew-10 pilot, NASA
  • Takuya Onishi, Crew-10 mission specialist, JAXA
  • Kirill Peskov, Crew-10 mission specialist, Roscosmos
