Contents

Facility Overview

The Fuel Cell Testing Laboratory is located in Building 334 and consists of multiple testing stations. This cell has been designed to accommodate a wide variety of sizes and types of fuel cells, including hydrogen/air and hydrogen/oxygen fuel cells ranging from 1 kW up to 125 kW. The test cell can be supplied with hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen gases from 2,400 psig tube trailers and a 12 Pack K-Bottle Station. Other gases are available upon request. The facility also boasts a compressed air system, which provides dedicated research air for test fuel cell usage and cooling air, as well as dedicated shop air for shop tools, valve actuation, and system components.
