Professional Biography

Alexey Munishkin is an Aerospace Engineer working at NASA Ames Research Center. He joined NASA as a Pathways intern in 2020 and converted to a civil servant in 2023. He has worked in multiple projects related to Urban Air Mobility and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Traffic Management. Prior to working at NASA Ames, Alexey did his Ph.D. studies in Computer Engineering with an emphasis in Robotics and Control at the University of California, Santa Cruz under the guidance of Professor Dejan Milutinovic in the Robotics and Control lab at Baskin Engineering. Alexey’s research interests are in stochastic systems, intelligent controls, multi-agent and swarm systems, and in traffic management and transportation systems.
