Do you want to learn to take amazing photos of the rocket launches from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility that will be the envy of your friends?
Launch Range Photography — Tips and Tricks will be presented at 5 p.m., Thursday, May 11 at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center.
Jim Mason-Foley, Wallops Optics System Manager, will discuss how professionals take award-winning photographs of rockets during launches. Information presented during this one hour program will include lighting, aperture, shutter speed settings, F-stops, DSLR versus point-n-shoot cameras, and more.
The NASA Visitor Center, located on Va. Rt. 175 about six miles from U. S. Route 13 and five miles from Chincoteague, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
