NASA Awards Contract for Environmental Support Services

NASA has selected BB&E Inc. of Northville, Michigan, for a contract for Environmental Support Services (ESS) at the agency’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California.

This is a task order under a General Services Administration (GSA) One Acquisition Source for Integrated Services (OASIS) multiple-award, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quanity contract. This will be a hybrid task order, consisting primarily of firm-fixed-price and time and materials contract line item numbers (CLINs). One cost reimbursement CLIN per period will provide access to the GSA OASIS contract.

The period of performance will begin on Monday, March 16, and consists of a one-year base period (including a 60-day phase-in period), and four one-year option periods.
This task order has a maximum value of $29,507,617.

BB&E Inc. will provide services in the following areas:

  • Air quality; cultural resources (National Historic Preservation Act, Archeological Resources Protection Act, etc.)
  • Environmental management systems
  • Hazardous materials management; hazardous waste management/processing
  • National Environmental Policy Act/Environmental Justice
  • Natural resources (wildlife, plants, ecosystems)
  • Spill prevention, control & countermeasures (petroleum, oils, and lubricants and aboveground storage tanks)
  • Restoration and remediation
  • Sustainability practices and pollution prevention (water conservation, energy conservation, waste reduction/recycling, sustainable acquisition)
  • Water quality compliance (drinking water, waste water, storm water)
