The Wallops P-3 aircraft team is supporting the IMPACTS mission to study east coast snowstorms December through February. The ultimate goal of the mission is to improve our snowfall modeling and prediction capabilities. The P-3 took off for Science Flight #3 at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 19 and landed at 11:30 p.m. after a 8.3 hour flight.
