The Consolidated Information Technology Center building at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center on Edwards Air Force Base is a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet current and anticipated future information technology requirements. The structure incorporates water and energy conservation features and incorporated construction materials that do not degrade indoor environmental quality, making it the first “green” building at Dryden that meets the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design silver status standards. The 22,000-square-foot, two-story structure adjacent to Dryden’s Data Analysis Facility was built by Southwestern Dakotah Inc., of Tucson, AZ, under a $5.8 million dollar contract over a two-year period.June 14, 2012
