U.S. Army test pilot Col. Emil "Jack" Kluever in the cockpit of the Apollo-era Lunar Landing Research Vehicle No. 1 on the ramp at Edwards Air Force Base in 1966. Col. Kluever, who flew numerous LLRV test flights, died on April 23, 2011.
