At the Launch Pad
On Launch Complex 41 on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, the Atlas V/Centaur rocket reaches the launch pad carrying NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite. Circling the pad are the protective lightning towers.
