Art Ruitberg – NESC Academy Biography

Art Ruitberg started work at the NASA-Goddard’s Space Power Systems Branch in 1968 and obtained a full-time position as a power electronics engineer in 1971, after graduating from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  While at GSFC, Art’s work focused on high performance, high voltage power supply design, building and testing for various Goddard scientific instrument sensors for the HEAO, ISTP and Cassini missions plus many others.  Since 2005, Art has been working for Space Power Electronics, Inc. in Kathleen, Ga. continuing the same kind of work for the NASA-Goddard instrument community.
