Luke is an Aerospace Engineering student and NASA Pathways Intern at Langley Research Center. His work focuses on aircraft design and analysis, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary design optimization and uncertainty quantification.
During his time at Langley, he has worked with tools including OpenMDAO and UQPCE to study aircraft design under uncertainty and has explored higher-order computational aerodynamic methods such as non-linear lifting-line and vortex-lattice methods. His technical interests include aircraft configuration and optimization, aerodynamic analysis, numerical methods, and scientific computing.
