Overview
The CSA Laboratory is the Space Center’s International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000 Accredited production laboratory. The CSA Laboratory provides sampling and quality chemical analyses to all tenants on the Space Center. The laboratory conducts sampling and quantitative analyses of most major commodities used on Center: water, solvents, gases (cryogens, breathing air, research grade, etc.), oils, cleaning solutions, hypergols, and many more in accordance with at least 400 industry standards (ASTM, MIL-SPEC, EPA, ANSI, etc.) not including customer specific standards. CSA also provides calibration of Toxic Vapor Detectors for fuel and oxidizer as well as hypergol compatibility/permeation testing. The CSA laboratory provides real-time support and quick turnaround times for mission essential/critical work. The laboratory promotes low level reporting limits with quality data method d*Lab capability: method development, and quality tracking.
