Missions Home Screen

The missions home screen shows all current NASA missions in a table view to skim. Any item in the list of missions can be selected, which opens a detailed view.

Missions Filter Screen

Clicking the filter button in the missions panel, allows you to turn on or off (using the yellow star icon) the missions you would like to see listed.

Missions Detail Screen

Selecting a mission, opens a second detailed view which allows you to view the mission description, see mission specific images and videos, visit the mission website, email the mission link to someone, view a launch or arrival countdown clock and view an orbit tracking screen (if the spacecraft is in orbit around the Earth) for some missions.

Mission Orbit Tracking Screen

The mission orbit tracking screen (available for some missions that are in orbit around the Earth, like the International Space Station), shows the current orbit position of a selected spacecraft.

Visible Passes Screen

The visible passes screen, allows the user to bring up a list of visible passes for near-earth orbiters (ISS, Shuttle, etc), by home location and through the search for location function. iPhone 3gs users will also see a working compass at the top of the screen, to help locate the visible pass approach and departure locations.

Mission Email Screen

The mission email screen, allows the user to send the mission description and URL to someone.
