NASA’s Educator Professional Development (EPD) connects formal and informal K-12 educators with enriching opportunities designed to support educators in STEM teaching with real-world connections to NASA missions. Through our events and community of practice, we provide sustained opportunities for educator development, offering access to a wealth of NASA mission resources and programs. Led by NASA education specialists, our events encompass both synchronous and asynchronous formats, including facilitating engagement with NASA subject matter experts (SMEs).

Join us to learn with NASA team members through virtual and in-person opportunities in real-time.

Virtual Educator Professional Development Opportunities

  • Monthly Webinars – Online professional learning opportunities aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and NASA’s missions. Opportunities are posted monthly in NASA STEM Gateway, as well as in the EPD Webinars group within NASA CONNECTS.
  • On-demand Events – NASA team members present current NASA Next Gen STEM resources in support of educators in virtual and occasional in-person events, when possible. Please email hq-epd@mail.nasa.gov for more information, or to request an EPD event.

In-Person Educator Professional Development Opportunities
