Watch these videos to learn the elements of high-powered rocketry: basics, structure, propulsion, recovery, payloads and safety. A rocket is high-powered if it:
- Uses an H-motor or larger rocket motor,
- Uses a motor with more than 80 Newtons average thrust,
- Uses a motor with more than 125 grams of propellant, and
- Weighs more than 1500 grams.
Participants in the NASA Student Launch competition may use these videos as references.
