
Robert Maiberger

Major Robert Maiberger, U.S. Army (Ret.), has more than 40 years of experience in aerospace engineering, aviation maintenance and commercial construction leadership positions. He has more than 20 years of experience in manned spaceflight safety, mission assurance, and engineering performing hazard and failure analysis on complex spaceflight systems and experiments. He also has extensive experience in leading, managing, and training large, diverse organizations in maintenance and repair operations, supply distribution, transportation, and human resources. He has planned, directed, and executed aviation maintenance and logistics operations worldwide, including eight consecutive years as chief maintenance test pilot. His responsibilities included allocating limited resources efficiently to maximize production, reduce backlog, and increase aircraft readiness, as well as developing and managing contract maintenance support contracts for large helicopter fleets.
