Lui Wang – NESC Academy Biography

Mr. Lui Wang is a Technical Expert domain lead for advanced software technologies in the Software Robotics Simulation Division of NASA Johnson Space Center, pioneer in the avionics design of electronic procedure system to support human spaceflight.  He has led the research and infused numerous automation and intelligent software technologies projects in the human spaceflight programs.

Currently, Mr. Wang is leading the development Augmented Reality Electronic Procedure System to support future operation of human, robotics space exploration. His recent work includes Game Changing Augmented Reality for Maintenance Repair and Training, Augmented Reality for Tele-Medicine Applications and Autonomous Logistics Management using Augmented Reality.

Mr. Wang is also leading a System Engineering modeling team exploring the methodology of using Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) techniques to capture system design knowledge and generate design artifacts including Master Equipment List (MEL), Connectivity, eXML Telemetric Command Exchange (XTCE), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) from a consistent SysML model.
