Overview

After further review, NASA will no longer pursue the development of independent commercial low-Earth orbit destinations through Appendix K of the Next Space Technologies for Exploration Partnerships (NextSTEP-2) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) entitled “Appendix K: Commercial Destination Development in Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) Free Flyer.” Instead, NASA plans to announce a competition for Funded Space Act Agreements to support the formulation and design of Commercial LEO Destinations.
