On Feb. 19, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will host the 19th Small Business Alliance Meeting. More than 650 national representatives of large and small business prime contractors, subcontractors and NASA organizations plan to attend.
The meeting, to be held in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. News media are invited to attend.
Participants will have the opportunity to network with Marshall managers, Marshall Small Business Office staff, NASA large business prime contractors and others.
Marshall Deputy Director Teresa Vanhooser, Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle and Madison Mayor Troy Trulock will provide opening remarks.
Marshall Center speakers will include Todd May, manager of the Space Launch System Program Office; Jody Singer, manager of the Flight Programs and Partnerships Office; Kim Whitson, director of the Office of Procurement; Johnny Stephenson, acting director of the Office of Strategic Analysis & Communications; and Marshall small business specialist David Brock.
The Small Business Alliance is sponsored by Marshall’s Small Business Office, part of the center’s Office of Procurement. Established in 2007, the alliance helps small businesses pursue NASA procurement and subcontracting opportunities.
