NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California, has selected Professional Management Enterprises, Inc. of Indianapolis to provide services that cover occupational medicine including occupational health nursing and fitness center management, as well as industrial hygiene and health physics, such as radiation safety, for the center.
The firm-fixed-price contract covers a one-year base performance period beginning Oct. 1 and extending through Oct. 31, 2016, with a value of $977,792. The contract includes four one-year options that, if exercised, extend the contract through Oct. 31, 2020, with a total potential contract value of approximately $5.8 million over the full 5-year period.
Professional Management Enterprises will provide occupational health services at the center on Edwards Air Force Base, to include Building 703 science aircraft facility and the AERO Institute both in Palmdale, California.
