• What is your area of Expertise?
  • I’m a nutritionist by training, with a PhD in Nutrition from Penn State. I’ve spent my career at NASA working to understand the role of nutrition in space exploration.

• What interested you in getting involved with the Twins Study?

  • We had done a fair amount of research on ISS astronauts – on missions of 4-6 months duration. A key question has always been – what happens after 6 months? This mission with the first time we had opened that door.

• What did you enjoy about the study?

  • Being a part of this team was really incredible, and truly an honor.
