$175,000 for a nine-month study 12 to 18 awards per year (planned) Release: June Step A Proposals Due: July Invitations Issued: August/September Step B Proposals Due: Typically September/October, but delayed this year to December 2025 Selections Announced: Typically January, but delayed this year to March 2026

Phase II
$600,000 for a two-year study Six to eight awards per year (planned) Release: Typically January but delayed in 2026 to Spring Proposals Due: Typically February, but delayed in 2026 Selections Announced: Typically April/May, but delayed in 2026
