Up the River
With an external tank as its cargo, tugboats tow the Pegasus barge on the Banana River near the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The barge is heading for the turn basin in the Launch Complex 39 Area where the tanks are offloaded and moved to the nearby Vehicle Assembly Building.
