Sargassum Beach

A carpet of an invasive brown algae called sargassum coats Flamenco Beach, Culebra (Puerto Rico). Sargassum has been overpopulating in the waters of the Caribbean Sea in the last decade and wreaking havoc on shorefront communities like those in Puerto Rico.
