
Recharging Astronauts with Fresh Food, Science, and Supplies 73.4F
iss044e064421 (August 25, 2015) --- Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Kimiya Yui is photographed with a bag of assorted citrus fruits delivered from the Kounotori H-II Transfer Vehicle 5 (HTV-5). HTV-5 was a successful uncrewed cargo resupply mission launched from the Tanegashima Space Center in southern Japan. Launch and docking of resupply vehicles allows for science, fresh food, and resources to be delivered to the crew living and working in space.
