The Destiny Laboratory

iss044e011199 (July 10, 2015) --- The Destiny module is the primary U.S. research laboratory on the International Space Station, supporting a wide range of experiments helping to benefit life on Earth and prepare for future exploration missions. Destiny has multiple equipment racks, the Microgravity Science Glovebox, and space station control systems. Launched in 2001, it was the fourth module, and the first laboratory added to the space station.
