Waiting for Ignition

Safety officer Tommy Hawkins waits for ignition on the first prescribed burn day at Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield, during the April 2025 FireSense campaign. Hawkins is a member of the Integrated Research Management Team (IRMT), which helped coordinate ground logistics and safety measures for the complex research campaign.
