Maipo Volcano

iss070e036437 (Nov. 26, 2023) -- Maipo, a stratovolcano in the Andes Mountains bordering Chile and Argentina, is highlighted by snow cover as the International Space Station orbited 265 miles above. Just east of the mountains peak (near the top of the image) lies Laguna del Diamante, covered in ice.
