From Riverbed to Crawlerway
The crawlerway is a 4.2 mile road of river rocks that paves the way for rockets from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Pads 39A and 39B at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. NASA’s Space Launch System rocket and Orion Spacecraft will sit on the mobile launcher atop the crawler-transportor 2 as it travels on the crawlerway for the Artemis missions.
