Oct. 9, 1968 - The Launch Control Center was the backdrop for every Saturn V rollout from the Vehicle Assembly Building. The Apollo8 astronauts --James Lovell,William Anders and Frank Borman -- were on hand to see their vehicle off toLaunch Pad 39A.
