Astronaut Suni Williams checks out the Astrobee robotic free-flyer

NASA Astronaut Suni Williams supervises Astrobee’s new tentacle-like attachments during the REACCH investigation. This was one of four sessions to demonstrate REACCH’s ability to catch floating items, a capability that could help recover orbiting objects. Development of this robotic technology may increase the lifespan of satellites and enable the removal of space debris.
