Rollout of the Apollo 6 space vehicle from the Vehicle Assembly Building

Saturn Apollo Program

Apollo 6, the second and last of the unmanned Saturn V test flights, is slowly transported past the Vehicle Assembly Building on the way to launch pad 39-A. The towering 363-foot Saturn V was a multi-stage, multi-engine launch vehicle standing taller than the Statue of Liberty. Altogether, the Saturn V engines produced as much power as 85 Hoover Dams.
