Designer: The graphics designer for the DROID logo was Tony Landis with initial design concepts by Mike Marston.

Explanation or story behind the logo: There are 4 of the DROID aircraft. The DROIDs have and continue to be the workhorse aircraft for the model lab. The DROIDs were initially acquired to be training vehicles for our Ikhana pilots. They have been used on many projects including autoGCAS, the TOAD glider, and currently UAS in the NAS.
