A Falcon 9 rocket lifts off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 carrying the Dragon resupply spacecraft to the International Space Station. Liftoff was at 4:43 p.m. EDT, April 8, 2016. On its eighth commercial resupply services mission to the space station, Dragon will bring up almost 7,000 pounds of supplies, such as new science experiments and equipment for technology research.
