A prototype lunar habitat is on a truck bound for the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton, Virginia, where it will be displayed in the facility’s Space Gallery as an interactive exhibit that visitors can go inside.
The photo to the right shows the habitat, which is inflatable, in a lab at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. Langley’s research with the test structure has helped NASA learn more about designs and materials for future lunar habitats.
