Throughout the entire star-gazing event, Johnson interns voluntarily joined the S.T.A.R. Squad to talk about NASA internships to anyone passing by.
The Houston Community College S.T.A.R. Squad holds star-gazing parties every month. The members set up a telescope outside a campus entrance at night. They then ask anyone going to or leaving a class if they want to see the moon or any other celestial body through a telescope. This particular location was at the HCC West Loop campus. Throughout the entire star-gazing event, Johnson interns voluntarily joined the S.T.A.R. Squad to talk about NASA internships to anyone passing by.
