Large expanses of windows and curved rooflines highlight the northern sides of the new Facilities Support Center at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center. The 38,000-square-foot structure was designed to meet the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) new construction platinum certification for environment and energy efficiency. NASA facilities engineers forecast that energy consumption will be reduced about 36 percent over conventional construction.
